Boomer’s Landing Trail

The Boomers Landing Trail can be accessed from the top Trail Hub 3.5 km up Pilot Point FSR or from below from the Pilot Bay Provincial Park. From the upper trail hub the trail takes you south to the Upper Levels trail junction. Follow the signs which take you into the park and Boomers Landing beach. The trail is about 4.5 km. It’s a stiff uphill hike from here back to the Trail Hub. One option would be to drop a vehicle at the Pilot Bay Provincial Park parking area on Pilot Bay Rd where you would follow the lakeshore trail 2.5 km west from Boomers Landing beach. Please note that BC Parks has not designated these trails for mountain biking. If you find yourself mountain biking on these trails please be extra considerate with hikers you encounter by dismounting your bike as you pass. Communication is key for a safe passing.

We acknowledge that the recreation trails which we enjoy are the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa First Nation. We honour their connection to the land, lakes and rivers and respect the importance of caring for our shared environment.
